Map Reference

Setting
Starts at Telford Town Park arena, exploring many parts of Telford on pavements and away from main roads. The route is the South Telford Heritage Trail with some lovely walking in the Telford countryside - in particular, some beautiful views of Ironbridge.

Profile
Mostly flat terrain with some hills. The route does have a few challenging obstacles, such as steep steps and narrow woodland path, although most of the route is easily accessible by most adults (or young adults). The 12 mile route is NOT wheelchair/pushchair friendly due to a long stretch of narrow path with no alternate route.
Refreshment Places
Water stop at the Green Wood Café, Coalbrookdale
Prizes
Entrants for the 12-mile walk will receive a Macmillan t-shirt, a medal, and a goody bag after completing the course. Entrants for the 3-mile walk will each receive a medal and a goodie bag after completing the course.
Facilities
Food/Drink, Toilets, First Aid

Other Info
Well behaved dogs are allowed on the walk and must be kept on the lead at all times.
