Brynkinalt Running Festival

THIS IS A TRAFFIC FREE EVENT
This popular trail running race is fantastic for all abilities as we have a 5k, 10k and 20k all on the same day.
If you are a beginner just starting out why not try your hand at an off-road trail 5k run. Or are you an experienced runner, then we have the 10k or 20k.
The 20k is two laps of the 10k route, and all courses are full of excitement. There are lots of hills, muddy slopes, gravel paths, trail paths, fields for you to get your feet stuck into.
Come and join us for this professional, charity race and raise vital funds for The Movement Centre.

Directions
Brynkinalt is not far off the A5 on the outskirts of Chirk. The grid reference is 52.932311, -3.040738. Although the postcode will get you near to Brynkinalt we advise you use a map as some sat navs can have interesting interpretation of where to take you. Registration and car parking opens at 8am and registration closes at 10am.
Arriving in Chirk from the South - From the Moreton Park Garden Centre roundabout take the second exit signposted Chirk. Travel for approximately 1.5 miles. There is a hill on the approach to Chirk. At the top of the hill, turn right by the church into Trevor Road. Continue past houses on the right hand side, until you reach a left hand bend. On this bend, turn right through the Main Black and Gold Estate Gates. This is the Gate Lodge and the main entrance to Brynkinalt.
Arriving in Chirk from the North - At the Halton roundabout on the A483 take the 3rd exit for Chirk and follow the signs for Chirk at the next roundabout. Drive straight through the town, you will pass the Hand Hotel on your left and the war memorial on your right. You will then see Chirk Church on your left hand side, just before the road drops down a hill. Turn left here into Trevor Road, past houses on the right hand side until you reach a left hand bend. On this bend, turn right through the Main Black and Gold Estate Gates. This is the Gate Lodge and the main entrance to Brynkinalt.
Setting
Brynkinalt Estate is on Private land, under no circumstances will you be able to run the route at any other time.

There will be two feed stations on route.

Facilities
Toilets and refreshments will be available on the day. Unfortunately there will be no changing facilities.

There will be a £1 parking charge for all vehicles, so please have this handy for when you arrive so that we can avoid queues.
